Blog
verb
To add new material or regular update a blog

At the age of 16, I discovered I wanted to begin my own blog. At first, I went through a journalism phase, where I participated in a summer school program and completed a part in media and communications. By the end of the two weeks, I realised that I was no longer wanted to become a journalist. It was something that didn't interest me anymore.
BUT I loved the concept of writing still. Whether it was writing my thoughts down within my journal, or just simply writing about my experiences for myself, to look back on. I guess that's why my personal Instagram captions are so long sometimes, since I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others and what I had learnt with people. The idea of one learning form each other, gives me satisfaction.
Having been called an 'opened person,' in the past used to offend me. However, now I like to embrace the fact that I may come across as an 'open person.' There are positives and negatives in being an 'open person.' I like to share my thoughts and ideas with those around me, although sometimes they aren't always the greatest... I'm the kind of person, who has so many ideas in their head that I would have to express these in writing. So, here I am, speaking my own mind!
'Take advantage of every given opportunity,' - Aelinda Truong
My main mindset for 2019, is to 'Take advantage of every given opportunity.' I decided that this year, would be the year that I venture out of my comfort zone and explore new things, places and discover. Hence, why I took the opportunity to start my own blog. To do something for myself, and not to worry about what others think. By blogging, I'll be able to voice my own opinions freely. This is definitely something I want my future self, to look back at one day with no regrets.
